July 10, 2017

"Who Am I"

"Why am i here?"

"What is my purpose?"

"I don't even know myself yet"

"I have everything, but it seems like there's something missing in my life"

"I'm not happy with my life"

"Everybody's telling me that I'm a trash :("

Have you asked yourself with questions like that? or  you have a dilemma of answering who you really are. It is called, "Quest for  Your True Identity"

Some issues that really matters to the youth nowadays are: Physical Appearance; Failure and criticisms; Self-assessment; Family affirmation and many more.

"Internal Identity dictates external lifestyle, just as nature dictates action" Your identity tells how you will lead your life. But some people live their lives not knowing who they really are.

Not knowing why you live simply means you don't know what is your purpose here on earth or you have no idea what is your life for.

Some people says, "I'm just a trash. I'm just a waste of space" without knowing that ALL OF US HAVE PURPOSE IN LIFE. Each one of us have different perspective or outlook on our life's purpose. Most people asking themselves about their purpose in life because they feel like they are not happy and contented with what they have now.

There are certain ways to know your life's purpose:

1. KNOW YOUR GIFT AREA

        - Have a personal journal. Explore your thoughts about your passion, talents, hobbies and interests by taking it down note and write some possible actions you want to do to enhance your skills and interests.

2. STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

        - Make friends. Friends brings out the best in you. You also need to TAKE RISKS. Remember: Taking risks is what helps us grow. Trying new things can make you more creative.

3. MAKE IT HAPPEN. and BE CONSISTENT

           - Do the things that lead you to fulfill your purpose, consistently.

AND always keep in mind that in order to find true happiness, we must first look for God and fulfill our purpose.

-----------

Not knowing your worth means if you don't know who you really are, you'll never realize just how special you are.

Self-esteem or Self-worth is the manifestation of how we see ourselves, but many outside influences shape it. It is time to realize your self-worth. Knowing your value will affect how you treat yourself and eventually how you value others.

Appreciating yourself makes or leads you to appreciate the world. Know your value and don’t accept being treated in a way less than you deserve.

Surrounding yourself with good people can also boosts your self-esteem because of the positive vibes they have. Through the people around you, you form a set of beliefs through which you define yourself, which then forms your self-concept or who you say you are. But the most helpful way to know your self-worth is to LOVE YOURSELF.

You need to be self-aware in order for you to resolve your mental conflicts and you can able to express your true self, fulfill your desire and realizing your worth and your purpose.
